Unattributed Jimi Hendrix photo

Since the time I posted a number of cool snapshots of Jimi Hendrix, the Soft Machine and the Who playing live in Virginia in 1968 (see here and here), I've become something of a magnet for folks' Hendrix snapshots. What I'd prefer is more photos of bands like the Swinging Machine.

Anyway, Alex McPheron sent in this great photo of Jimi. He found it in northwest Ohio, but it could be from anywhere really.

Can anyone recognize the venue, or have any idea what the banner could say behind him? How about dating this by Jimi's appearance or amps?

looks like the guitar he was playing at the University of Oklahoma Fieldhouse show(s) in 1970 (see google images). Also, looks he wore that turquoise necklace and 'stash at similar period shows. must've been last US tour?
