  1. The inkspots played marcam hall on the 18th June 1966. However more interesting is the fact that the support group that night was a band called bluesology who’s keyboard player was Reginald Dwight who later changed his name to elton John

  2. The Animals played on Saturday 15 May 1965, (“Latest hit recording Bring It On Home To Me”) supported by Shane Spencer and the Casuals (“from Nottingham”) Admission 10/-. Advert shows forthcoming bookings: The Birds May 25th, The Kinks May 29th, Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders June 5th, Adam Faith and the Roulettes June 12th 1965.

  3. Small Faces played Dec. 18th, 1965 with Jimmy Winston (replaced by Ian McClagan) on keyboards. I have the original signed contract for the gig in my memorabilia.
