The Waxahachie news in August, 1967 featured the Could V, who were competing in a Battle of the Bands at Getzendaner Memorial Park. Waxahachie, Texas is a town about 30 miles to the south of the center of Dallas.

Members were:

Eddie Lord – rhythm guitar
Charles McCutchen – organ
Gary French – bass
Gene Lord – lead guitar
Bob Walker – drums

They did not record to my knowledge.

    1. Ha! I am still alive and kicking, still Playing my horn and bass and working as head sound engineer for the Dallas Cowboys for the past 10 years, TV and movie sound for 35 or so years prior to that. Still see Bob, occasionally see Eugene, hear from Eddie. Haven’t seen McCutchen, but that picture looks a lot like John Jenkins.
